I have been weaving for much of my life and I'm never afraid to experiment with colour, pattern nor materials. I have worked for weaving suppliers and schools and have also taught weaving both in Australia and New Zealand. I am skilled in the use of many types and styles of looms and enjoy using and experimenting with all sorts of yarns but I particularly love to work predominantly with natural fibres. I enjoy adding to my skills, recently becoming involved in the Textile Artists community in the Eurobodalla and Bega area and taking courses in Saori weaving and basket-weaving and doing short courses in various Textile Arts to compliment my weaving. I love to create, one of a kind, pieces either for body or home. I'm always happy to pass on my skills at my studio or create something for you or your home. You will find items woven by myself, Warped Weaves, for sale, at the Artisans Nest, Bodalla. I have also traveled to India twice in the past two years, to absorb the wonderful textile arts of India drawing on the wonderful colours and embellishments used in India, to add to my creations.
